Aslm semua, pada akhirnya aku nyerah sama circle k, jadwal meeting yg bentrok sama msca buat aku bingung utk memilih. Padahal aku PENGEN BGT gabung sama circle k, tapi aku di msca pengurus, jadi mau gak mau aku harus rela melepaskan circle k, maybe next time aku bisa join...
Setelah 1 bulan lamanya aku mengurus financial aid (dan berasa kayak seumur idup!!) dengan penuh perjuangan, dari nge-print data, isi formulir, ke bank, bolak balik ke financial aid office, scan ini itu, bhkn sampe janjian nge-fax sama ortu di jakarta, pokoknya ribet bgt deh!! Setelah masa2 itu terlewatkan, aku berjalan ke financial aid office dengan perasaan gundah gulana dgn tangan memegang kertas2 penting utk diserahkan financial aid office, sampe dikantor salah satu administrator disana udah mau tutup kantor, aku lupa kalo friday cuma setengah hari...
Administrator = Excuse me, we're close. Whom do you want to meet?
Me = I'm really sorry, but can I meet the financial aid officer, please? I'm promise
I won't take any longer than 5 minutes!
Administrator = (asked the financial aid officer) Can she meet you?
Officer = Why not?
Administrator = OK, you can come in.
Me = Thank you very much. I just wanted to give some documents about my financial
aid application. I hope that's all enough. Also, my father had send a document
by fax about his salary in Indonesia, a country where I was come from, and of
course the paper had send in Indonesian languange, but I had tried to
translated in English for your files.
Officer = Let me check. I accept this...and this...and this...and...hmmm...
Me = What?
Officer = I need a routing number from your bank account, do you have it?
Me = Oh, OK, I think I have the paper, I suppose. Let me check it in my bag...
hmmm... Oh, here it is. Do you mean this one?
Officer = Perfect. Let me copy this paper.
Me = Sure, thanks.
Officer = Oke. Thank you.
Me = That is it?
Officer = Yes
Me = What is the next step?
Officer = The next step is just wait.
Me = Oh OK, Thank you very much.
Aku jalan keluar ruangan, dan setelah yakin gak ada orang disekitar aku, aku teriak sekenceng2nya, "Alhamdulillah....FIUH!! Selesai juga!! Untuk sementara ini aku gak perlu memikirkan Financial Aid!! Cihuy....Acik....acikkkk.......Yihaaaa"
Puji syukur saya panjatkan kehadirat Allah SWT yang telah memberikan hamba-Nya kekuatan. Terima kasih yang sebesar2nya kepada kedua orang tuaku yang tercinta, yang aku repotin dengan segala urusan2 aku, TERIMA KASIH BGT!! I LOVE MY PARENTS!! Doain semoga aku dpt financial aid!! Amin.....
